Designing within the conception of optimism, intervene and take over the building by not neglecting the past, but look even more close onto it. Understanding the qualities of the existence and work with them, instead of trying to fix what seems to be broken. Making the buildings likable, and full of qualitative moments. 

Taking off the „glasses“ of the investors off and replacing them with an optimistic lense, allowed to experience the buildings in a more subjective but also complex way. Atmosphere, expression, haptic, movement, rhythm,  spacial perception and light became focus points, resulting in a situation based design proposal for the existing, the Gretag buildings in Regensdorf.
